Warm Blankets delivered to Kabingo - high in the Ruwenzori

Posted: Sun, January 29, 2017 | By: Kabingo / St. Michael’s

The tiny village of Kabingo is high in the Ruwenzori foothills, about 10 miles by steep trail uphill from Kyarumba Trading Center. The inhabitants here are poor subsistence farmers without electricity, and with a high rate of disease.

Brighter Brains Institute has been helping them ever since a group of 5 BBI representatives visited them in November 2015.

Since that time, we have established a clinic, and given them food and educational supplies.

Our most recent gift was Blankets. The poorest people in Kabingo are cold, this leads to pneumonia and death, especially among the newborns, infants, and the elderly.

Below are photos of blankets we delivered. To donate additional blankets, click HERE.
