All our girls at the Bizoha Campus have been vaccinated against Cervical Cancer, the battle continues to fight against spread of the Human papilloma virus (HPV). Thanks to Science for saving lives!

A team of medical practitioners led by the KHPS/BIZOHA Medic visited the Bizoha Campus at Muhokya yesterday to vaccinate girls aged 5 - 16 years who are at the school against human papillomavirus HPV, a disease threatening lives of girls and mothers. This virus is very deadly as it causes cervical cancer.

Prior to the vaccination exercise, the pupils were taught about Sex Education, then a mention on STD and STI and also about the reproductive system and finally a mention about Cervical cancer disease.

Our Medic taught about STD/STI and how our learners can protect themselves against these diseases, its symptoms, treatments and how saying no to sex and love is a good thing to these learners since they are not ready for those acts, he stressed them to focus more on why they are in school, to acquire knowledge and excel.

The female medic gave tips and advice stressing the girls to abstain and refrain from immoral acts.

Attached are some of the images.
