Brighter Brains Institute (BBI) recently heard news from MIWODIF - Mitooma Women’s Dignity Foundation - that there are numerous women’s organizations in western Uganda that are interested in humanism.

MIWODIF directs Garama Secondary School, that is supported by BBI.

Humanism is extraordinarily popular with women’s groups in Uganda, due to its promotion of women’s rights, and birth control.

BBI supports four schools that are governed by women’s collectives: Nyakiyumbu Widows Orphanage School, Garama Secondary School, Mother Givers School (directed by the Buhanga Thuligahuma Women’s Collective) and Kanyenze Primary School (directed by Kanyenze Women’s Group).

Below is the list of women’s groups interested in Humanism. The majority are in Mitooma District.
