Tree Planting and Cake Baking at Future Path Classroom at Mother Givers Humanist School

Posted: Wed, July 20, 2016 | By: Mother Givers Humanist School

We have completed the ceiling for Future Path Class at Mother Givers Humanist School, the day was very wonderful. “Thank you Meredith”.

The day involved the members of Buhanga Thulibaghuma Women’s Group and Children of Mother Givers Humanist School planting 10 back trees which manifest the future remembrance of when Future class was build and will cover Buhanga Hill and protect Future Path Class from dangerous wind.

The day also involved training the women of Buhanga in Cake baking .This was the most liked part of women. All of them had no knowledge in cake baking. Women recommend for good days training and learning how to make small cakes and begin up a sustainable business. Women further said “Thank you very much Meredith.”

The children were allowed to open the class by two children, the used a knife

The cake was later sliced by the same two children, these children were wearing huts written on Future Path Class .

They both tested the bread and all the children ate on it including women of Buhanga Tihulibaghuma Women’s Group.

The trainer was Mr. MondayJoshua a teacher at Margarita Training Institute.

We had to introduce to the children the brooms, mopping bucket and synthetic and Omo soap for mopping, the cushions and the teachers’ chair, the chalk board brush.

Other materials as the stools, tables, and shelves have been ordered today to be made.

i think the same pictures will help in the picture book

more photos are coming

Sincerely,

Victorina Kabugho - Chair Person Buhanga Thulibaghuma Women’s Group
