Third Eco-Hut is constructed at Kahendero

by Bwambale Robert Musubaho

A third eco hut has been put in place and surprisingly these huts are yet to be roofed and we still request generous contributors to chip in something such that we roof and shutter them.

Am building them from local cheap available raw materials of bamboo which was collected from our bamboo forest, mud from ant hills, reeds from the bushes, nylon strands from the wastes from over used fishing nets, grass for thatching and the shutters will be made from bamboo.

Will use stones for flooring, the rooms are spacious and each will accommodate one person or two, will be powered by green energy, solar power and will be named according to the dominant animals in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

My dream is to create an Eco Huts Village which will generate extra funds via Eco tourism to aid me in running well the schools from the income generated from tourists occupying the huts at different times in the year.

Sponsor an eco hut, contribute something via http://africahumanists.org/kahendero-humanist-primary-scho…/

Attached are some of the images of the ongoing works.

With Science, we can progress.
