Scott Furciniti Helps Bring Running Water to Mother Giver Nursery School

Posted: Fri, January 15, 2016 | By: Mother Givers Humanist School

Scott Furciniti - one of BBI’s most consistent contributors - has donated funds to help bring running water to the women-owned Mother Giver Nursery School.

The school is located in Buhanga, a rural hamlet in the foothills of the Ruwenzori Mountains that can only be accessed by trail. Buhanga is about 3 miles uphill from Kyarumba, a village of 10,000 where Brighter Brains Institute has launched many projects, including 8 clinics.

The children of Mother Giver Nursery School are frequently sick, due to drinking unclean water. There is no running water in Buhanga because the pipes have broken, and need to be replaced.

Brighter Brains Institute is attempting to raise funds to replace the broken pipes. We have also installed a clinic there.

Thank you, Scott Furciniti, for helping the children of Buhanga!
