Kahendero Humanist Nursery School children are so thankful for getting chance to be in school.

This area has low levels of education, high rates of teen mothers, sex workers, drug addicts and majority of its people are still primitive.

As we educate the new generation, we are trying all our best to sensitize them to love schooling, attend classes, access medical care and where possible avail breakfast and lunch.

The school by last term had 25 children. The new term is just starting.

One challenge we have are the low income levels as there is a suspension on fishing activities by the government in this area, the fishermen use poor methods of fishing and normally use undersized nets which capture young fish ..... now the lake is almost empty and people are feeling the wrath of poverty & disease.

We normally ask for little fees but surprisingly only a few can manage it. Its a big shame indeed for our country.

Attached are some of the images of some Kahendero children.
