From 20th Feb. 2017 to 20th March 2017, we have received 65 patients who are indicated in the table below.
Respiratory Tract Infections: 44
Peptic Ulcer Disease: 4
Human Bite: 1
Scalp Infections: 1
Body Ring Worms: 1
Miscellaneous (Headache, Eye Problem, Flu): 2
The most common disease during this period is Respiratory Tract Infections (RTI) which has higher number of patients at the school.
The second leading disease at the school is diarrhea which I think as a clinic attendant could be as a result of having poor healthy facility (latrine) in the school in addition to surviving
on unclean water not safe for drinking and lack of hand washing items.
Thirdly, we have a problem of Ulcers due to the long time spent by most school children without eating and therefore a big challenge to the children.
We request that to overcome the problems of drinking unsafe or unclean water, lack of good toilet and washing items after children ease themselves, you help us in donating these.
We also request to have many friends of the school as many as possible so that can help to reduce on the challenges which the school encounters.
Since also parents of our children are in absolute poverty, I would love that their children should be dressed in shoes for which their parents cannot afford. Therefore, I request that if possible, can be provided with shoes.
We also request to have an extension of the land so that we build a clinic to be within the school premises and do away with renting for it takes much of the school’s money where we are not even sure of where we shall get the next months’ facilitation of the clinic in terms of rent.
With these few, I say nice time and always wish you well and long live of every plan you set and do.
Thank you so much
