Progress Update on “Piedmont Classroom” at Nyakiyumbu Widows Orphanage School

Posted: Mon, September 26, 2016 | By: Nyakiyumbu Widows Orphanage Humanist School

A recent fundraiser in Piedmont (the small town where Brighter Brains Institute is headquartered) gained enough funding to build a “Piedmont Classroom” at Nyakiyumbu Widows Orphanage School in western Uganda.

Progress has already started on the new brick classroom - it will be the first “permanent” building of the school. Previous classrooms were made of mud and branches, and they disintegrated in heavy rains.

Several members of the Piedmont Community Service Crew attended the fundraiser and helpers - barbecuing the delicious marinated goat, for example, and other tasks. Thank You!
