Our team finally cleared the entire piece of land meant to grow vanilla. Then a special kind of tree (Biloowa) which must be planted first before vanilla is planted ( literally put - vanilla grows climbing that tree and it keeps on getting water from the Biloowa).
The entire garden is covered with Biloowa and our team is putting up the fence (already Mvule poles have been planted) and we shall soon put on the fence…
The next step will be planting the Vanilla .Good news is that the rain is here (we still rely on its mercy!) to grow anything at the moment but this promises to be a better season.
We shall keep you updated on all the progress. Here is the pictorial for what has been done so far on the Vanilla Farm.
Thanks to Team Pearl for the hard work.
Moving Forward Together.
