Abdulrahman Aliyu - one of our Brighter Brains Institute / Nigeria Humanist Policy Centre representatives—went to a Islamic school last week and gave the Almajiri boys there some new clothes.

The location, in his words, is “Amigo Street, Tudun Wada, Kaduna.”

Kaduna is one of the largest cities in Northern Nigeria.BBI has representative in Kaduna, Zaria, Kano, and Maiduguri,

Our goal is to end the Almajiri system that enslaves boys in Islamic schools and only teaches them the Koran. We are helping other groups that are pressuring the current President to do this.

Until success is gained in this - we will extend some kindness to the boys by giving them food, clothes, and blankets.
