Dr. Bruce Chou Classroom #4 is being constructed for Vision Care School in Kyarumba, Uganda. It is called “#4” because the generous anesthesiologist from Oakdale, California, has previously donated funds for 3 other humanist classrooms, two in Muhokya and one in Kahendero.
The classroom is presently getting its roof attached. Amazingly enough, the entire structure has been built for only $1,000.
The goal is to complete the classroom in time to have students use it by the beginning of the next school term, in mid-June.
Thank you Dr. Bruce Chour, for your generosity in helping this school!
This is the first “permanent” brick building at Vision Care School. The other classroom were either “temporary” building made of mud and branches, or they were simply tarps spread between poles.
