Orphans at a Humanist School in Uganda - need sponsors to pay their tuition

Posted: Thu, April 20, 2017 | By: Buhanga

Orphans in Uganda are at risk of dropping our of school because they have no parent or guardian to pay their school tuition - even though the cost is only $29-48 (in rural primary schools)

HumanistGlobal.org is seeking sponsors for 18 orphans at Mother Givers Humanist School in Buhanga, in western Uganda, near the Congo border. The school is Secular Humanist (exceptionally rare in Uganda) and its directed by the Buhanga Thuligahuma Women’s Collective.

If orphans drop out of school, they are generally headed for a life of crime - drug-dealing, thievery, and prostitution.
