Our Critical Thinking workshop was conducted on Saturday and Sunday. We got 22 old people of whom 21 of them have been females and one man joined the participants.
9 pupils of the school attended; majority were accompanied their mothers. These children were all in number making 26, the boys were 9 and girls were 17.
The participants appreciated us organizing this event as it will help them to understand situations of the doubting and the undoubting ones.
We offered breakfast, tea and lunch to the participants.
The workshop was involved asking questions which helped me to explain the topics and to evaluate participants’ understanding.
I was helped by Maathe and Perezi who backed us to facilitate the workshop.
Bravo to Brighter Brains Institute who help us.
When we asked the participants to tell us on what to improve, this is what was suggested:
1) Engage other organizations to unite with us. This helps to convince other groups that what we advocate is not satanic and not against any religion by explaining the whole concept of humanism. This can remove negative attitude towards humanist groups.
2) Engage local leaders to explain humanism and end ignorance.
