Meredith Newman Debens donates AFRIpads to girls at BiZoHa Orphanage School

Posted: Fri, March 11, 2016 | By: BiZoHa Orphanage, School, Humanist Centre, Volunteer Hostel

Meredith Newman Debens - a regular Brighter Brains Institute contributor, from Australia, who was formerly a librarian/teacher - has donated AFRIpads to the older girls at BiZoha Orphanage Humanist School.

AFRIpads are a recyclable sanitary pad, that can be used for 12-18 months. This item is a wonderful gift for girls in rural Uganda, where many skip school days or drop out of school altogether when they reach puberty, because they cannot afford traditional sanitary pads.

Thank you Meredith, for your wonderful gift!
