Living Waters Clinic is sponsored by Rene and Holli Pellissier.

Rene Pellissier is the brother of Bob Pellissier and Hank Pellissier, the uncle of Eric Oliver Pellissier, the cousin of Jeff Pellissier, the son of Henri and Dianne Pellissier, the cousin of Margie Johnson, and the cousin of Vickie Johnson. This large contingent includes the founder of BBI and many of the major funders.

“Living Water” refers to a New Testament quote, John 4:14, that says,

“But whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” (King James Version)

“Living Water” also refers to a nation-wide Christian Evangelical group, and Living Water International is the name of a Christian non-profit that helps disadvantaged communities world-wide secure drinkable water. Rene and BBI will be contacting this organization to see if that can assist Nyakiyumbu by drilling a well.

Rene and Holli (his wife) live in Rogue River, Oregon. They have a ranch with pigs, goats, chickens, and horses.

Rene and Holli are Christians. St. Thomas School is Anglican.

Eleven of the clinics founded by Brighter Brains Institute support schools that are secular humanist. Four of the clinics support schools that are religious.
