She made a brief lecture and was so astonished having good time with the learners and staffs at this school.

With Science, we can progress.

Lily Rice, the volunteer from the British Institute who is doing her research on Humanist Schools in Uganda some two days ago visited the Rukoki Campus of Kasese Humanist School.

Its on this campus that we also have the recently opened Kasese Humanist Secondary School. These schools were all visited by this volunteer. She was welcomed by the teaching staffs and children at this school.

She had some good time with them, managed to do a lecture on humanist principles, visited the secondary school and managed to take a glimpse at some of the projects at this school among them being the gardens run by teachers and pupils, the Eric Oliver creativity club, Music dance and drama, vocational skills training drills, the Pellissier Science Laboratory to mention but a few.

The volunteer will be concluding her two weeks visit today and will be moving soon, she has been staying at the Bizoha Humanist Center property at Muhokya. This property is opening late this month and will offer a variety of services.

All in all, we salute Ms Lily Rice for the visit and look forward to coordinating and networking in the near future.

With Science, we can progress.
