Lily Rice becomes our pioneer volunteer to stay at Bizoha Volunteer Hostel @ Bizoha Humanist Center

Today i received a volunteer who is researching on Humanism in Uganda.

She is based in the United Kingdom and currently on internship in Nairobi Kenya. She is thrilled by the works by Uganda Humanists and she is somehow interested in researching on how the locals perceive them bearing in mind that Humanism is a life stance, lifestyle that aims at putting humanity at the center of everything.

Uganda is a highly religious country where most of its population are victims of dogma and indoctrinated. Scores of people still think that blessings or challenges happens for a reason or being sent from a sky daddy or some sort of spaghetti monster sitted on a huge sofa set in the skies.

She is housed at the Bizoha Volunteers Hostel which is in its final stages to be opened to the general public late this month.

Lily Rice today visited the Bizoha School and was welcomed by enthusiastic Bizoha School teachers and children who is so excited and thrilled by her visit. She will be around visiting Kasese Humanist initiatives in a period of 2 weeks.

Attached are some images showing her at the Bizoha Volunteers Hostel & at the Bizoha School Muhokya.
