Kumaran, Nalini, and Strini Reddy Donate Book Money to Mother Givers and Kasese Humanist Schools

Posted: Mon, January 09, 2017 | By: Uganda

Brighter Brains Institute received a wonderful gift of $140 today, from Kumaran Reddy—a new friend and BBI Board Member who lives in Winnipeg, Canada. Kaman is a member of HAAM - Humanists, Atheists and Agnostics of Manitoba.

The funds were collected by Kumaran from his sister Nalini, and his father Strini, and out of his own pocket.

Kumaran met BBI director Hank Pellissier when the latter was in Winnipeg delivering a presentation. Kumaran videotaped the presentation, and the two have been keeping in touch every since via Facebook. Kumaran has a special interest in BBI’s projects because he was raised in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe).

The $140 in funds will be divided between Kasese Humanist Secondary School, and Mother Givers Humanist School, in Buhanga. The funds are to be spent on books.

Thank you Kumaran!
