Kahendero Humanist Primary School gets two separate donations of a boat. One of the boats was donated by the recent visitor to the School named Chai Garcia who is based in NewYork City and currently working in California in the United States.

I today went to Katwe, a fishing village commonly known for fishing activities and boat building.

I visited the Boat Making Workshop and placed two orders to make 2 boats - one dedicated to Chai Garcia’s Mother called Ana Sanchez. Her name Ana Sanchez will be printed on the sides of the boat after completion.

According to the boat builder, 2 weeks are enough to have the boat ready.

The second boat - funded by Davida - will be dedicated for tourism purposes, touring the waters of Lake George, Lake Edward, visiting several Islands on this lake, visiting parts of Ibanda, Hima, Katunguru, Kaseny, Hamkungu and some little transportation of locals at a small fee. Visitors to the Bizoha Volunteers Hostel will also rent out this boat which will be called BIZOHA.

The boats will be powered by outboards and applications to skilled boat drivers is open.

I thank Davida LeComte and Mr Chai Garcia for this generous offer, we shall get plenty of fish to feed the Bizoha Orphans, Staffs and children of the school, we shall also get extra income that will help in the smooth running of school activities.

With Science, we can progress.
