Justin Silbaugh is a new staff member of the Brighter Brains Institute. He is an educator, leader and international development professional.

Justin lived in Uganda from 2006 - 2016, taking on several director-level roles in grassroots education organizations. He served as the creative director of Mango Tree Educational Enterprises, the country director of In Movement: Art for Social Change and the executive director of Foundation for Development of Needy Communities (FDNC).

An article about Justin appears here:—98254294/162933.html

For the last three years, Hank Pellissier has been the primary decision-maker at BBI on determining strategy in Uganda, and making budget decisions. Hank’s total amount of time in Uganda, however, is only 3.5 weeks - he isn’t remotely as experienced as Justin Silbaugh in the culture of Uganda.

Justin will be heavily relied on, listened to, and given leadership in all future decisions regarding Uganda. BBI is delighted to have his expertise on board, and Hank is relieved to have his assistance!

Hank will be focusing more on BBI’s recent attempts to provide aid to Appalachia.
