Julia Zelevinsky, and her mother Karen (a Board member of Brighter Brains Institute) raised $250 last weekend to help orphans at Mother Givers Humanist School in Uganda.
They raised the funds via a “Bake Sale” — by selling items they baked themselves to their Unitarian Church community, in Massachusetts.
The funds will be used to sponsor the tuition and provide food for orphans at the school, which is located in the tiny village of Buhanga, in western Uganda, in the foothills of the Ruwenzori mountains.
Julia’s kindness and generosity is hugely appreciated by the orphans. They will send her a photo of themselves holding a Thank You card.
The Zelevinsky Family is one of the most generous contributors to Brighter Brains projects, and we are deeply grateful their help.
