JOY WOMEN GROUP MONTHLY REPORT ON OUR TAILORING PROJECT

10. 2 Customer benches=120,000
11. Iron and water sprayer=70,000
12. Commission for withdraw using mobile money=20,000
INCOME FOR THE MONTH
This project has so far made Uganda shillings 156,400. The money was made through using the three sewing machines to repair peoples’ old worn clothes and selling some dresses made from the newly bought fabrics. The customers were mostly women who bought the new dresses, children who mostly brought their clothes for repair and then women.
PROFIT OR LOSS FOR THE MONTH
Eighty thousand Uganda shillings (80,000) were not spent. it will be spent on making Sign post and paying license for 1 year. We are waiting to pay license by 1st June 2018. After paying the license we shall make a sign post for the business. We estimate that the project may make over Ugshs 200,000. And we will keep increasing as our business gets known.
So far our products are being sold to the people of Nyamwamba division; we are displaying our products in and outside our the business room. We will do advert by use of radio and word of mouth and then getting contacts of those who buy from us so that we can inform them about our new products.
In the group there is 5 Women who help to sew clothes and they are training some of the members to do it. These women are: Masika Agness,Martha, Mbambu Costance, Kakusi Ketty and Ithungu Dorothy
WAYS TO IMPROVE?
To purchase more beautiful fabrics so that many customers can be attracted to our business. Painting our business room with attractive paints so that it becomes more attractive to our customer
