Brighter Brains Institute is going to be providing multiple women’s organizations in western Uganda with microfinance loans. We have set up a special website for this -

Every women’s group that BBI provides loans to will initially receive instruction on how microfinancing works, from two BBI representatives:

Jonald Namayangye lives in Mbarra. She is a graduate of Makerere University where she was awarded a Bachelor’s Degree In Science in Business Statistics. She is a member of the Kanunugu Humanist Association and a Vice-President on the Brighter Brains Institute’s Board of Directors. She is concerned about “human welfare, values and dignity.”

Charity Cathy Biira lives in Kisinga. She is the development director of MIWODIF (Mitooma Women’s Dignity Foundation) and a Brighter Brains Institute partner in our communications with Garama Secondary Humanist School. Her Bachelor’s degree is in International Development.

Both are educated in Microfinance.

Jonald and Charity will be explain microfinance to the women’s groups and assist BBI in determining the best candidates for lending.

The first three groups they will meet with are the Nyakiyumbu Widows Association, the BiZoHa Women’s Empowerment Group, and the Kirembo United Women for Development.
