The Eric Oliver creativity club music drills is in motion at the Kasese Humanist Primary School Rukoki & Bizoha Campus.
Pupils in this class are taught about music, creativity, poems, song writing, miming, dancing and above all performing in front of audiences.
We are happy to have come across a local musician who has volunteered to work jointly with our school in training the kids compose, write and sing music. On the other hand the Musician is a strong fan of secular music and is going to labor much on teaching the kids music free from indoctrination.
We are going to promote humanism and science through Music. The Musician stage name is Grandevergreat Itungo and after explaining humanism and what it entails, he confessed to me that he has been a Humanist without him knowing. He so far has some good songs worthy listening to, some in audio and some two in video.
In a nutshell, i welcome him to the world of free thought where we talk sense, no myths, no allegories, no spirits, no sky monsters but instead we put humanity at the center of everything.
Attached are some of the images Grandevergreat at Bizoha plus some pics of the music class at Rukoki.
