Embrace Global Change clinic in Nyakiyumbu, Uganda, has selected a new medic to take care of the children at Nyakiyumbu Widows Orphanage School.
The new medic is Kambasu Zedekia, He is a certified nurse.
The clinic was established in 2014 with funds obtained via a GoFundMe drive led by Biba Kavass, the Secretary of the Brighter Brains Institute (BBI). Those funds supplied the clinic with enough medicine, and the medic’s salary, for one year.
Currently, the clinic is operating on funds provided by an Anonymous donor.
Nyakiyumbu Widows Orphanage school director Maathe Melkisedek has recently reported to BBI:
“There have been three cases identified as HIV/AIDS victims, one of them being in P.2 class and the other two in P.3 class.”
Brighter Brains congratulates Nyakiyumbu on finding a new medic for the job, and we thank the Anonymous donor for their contribution.
