Eco-Huts Frames are in Place - Funds Needed to Complete the Project Quickly

by Bwambale Robert Musubaho

I am currently working on the Humanist Hall, finalizing the Bizoha Humanist center and initial efforts putting in place Eco huts at the Kahendero School.

The builders working on the Eco huts have managed to put a frame structure of hut 1 which is at wall plate.

I have instructed them to work on hut 2 and put in place a similar structure like hut 1.

The reason for this is to maximum use the ferried bamboo so that it does not fall victim to thieves since it sells like a hot cake.

Am still searching for generous individuals who can inject in some coins so that i complete these huts in the shortest time possible. Their usage will be budget accommodation to tourists who want to stay at our school and view the many numbers of wild animals that come by in the early hours of the night till dawn.

These building spots will also help raise the profile of Kasese Humanist, Kahendero Humanist and Bizoha in our journey of promoting outdoor and evidence based learning.

The huts will have roofs made by use of rafters and grass thatched on top. The back, side walls will be mud while the front part will possess bamboo, bamboo door & bamboo window. The building will have a shade extension at the front part.
