Buhanga receives Mosquito Nets and Teacher Salaries from Kerry Mills

Posted: Tue, November 22, 2016 | By: Mother Givers Humanist School

The village of Buhanga, where Mother Givers Humanist School is located, has received two wonderful gifts from a generous Australian contributor.

Kerry Mills is an ex-librarian. She is working with Meredith Newman Debens, another Aussie ex-librarian, to help the community of Buhanga - an isolated, only-reachable-by-trail village in the Ruwenzori Mountains.

Kerry’s recently provided Buhanga with two gifts: Mosquito Nets, to prevent malaria and other diseases; and Teacher Salaries, to support the faculty of Mother Givers School.

Thank you, Kerry!

“Merry and Kerry” are hoping to find other Australian librarians and teachers who want to help them support the people of Buhanga. If you’d like to join their group, please contact brighterbrainsinstitute@gmail.com
