Brighter Brains Institute visits Kahendero Humanist School

On June 12, 2017 - four members of the Brighter Brains Institute visited Kahendero Humanist School.

BBI constructed this school in 2015-2016, via donated funds from individuals and a GoFundMe campaign.

The BBI members were Karen Zelevinsky, Bob Pellissier, Werner Haag, and Hank Pellissier. They also visited the nearby boat dock, on Lake George, where BBI donors provided funds to built two boats - one for fishing income and the other for tourism.

BBI was well-pleased with Kahendero. Enrollment is high - over 200 pupils already.

A highlight of the visit was seeing the under-construction Kahendero Humanist Hall - the largest building BBI has ever funded. The hall will be rented out for income (to pay teachers) and (we hope) to show films that impart scientific and humanist ideas.
