Bob Pellissier - one of the most generous contributors to BBI projects - is funding the “spring term” of two clinics in Kyarumba, Uganda - Rays of Light Orphanage School and St. Luke’s Nursery School.
Spring Term runs from mid-February to late May. The clinics are set up to take care of the children at the schools they are associated with. Both Rays of Light and St. Luke’s have enormously swelled in enrollment since the clinics were established.
Bob Pellissier is the sole funnier of numerous other clinics in western Uganda. The list includes clinics at Kasese Humanist Primary School, Vision Care School, Kabingo School, St. Michael’s School, Mughete School, and Mother Giver’s School.
The clinics alleviate numerous diseases that afflict children in the area, including malaria, respiratory tract infection, peptic ulcer disease, diarrhea, gastro-intestinal infections, and parasitic worm infections. The cost of the clinics ranges from $1,100 - $1,800 per year, depending on the number of students.
