Brighter Brains Institute Advisory Board member Bob Pellissier has provided funding for a clinic that will serve the children at Mother Givers Nursery School in Buhunga, Uganda. Buhunga is a remote hamlet 5 miles from the small village of Kyarumba, in western Uganda. Buhunga is in the foothills of the Ruwenzori mountains and it can only be accessed by trail.
Mother Givers Nursery School is a women-owned cooperative with 115 students. The faculty first approached BBI for funding via email. A subsequent meeting was arranged with BBI inspectors in November 2015.
Bob Pellissier is one of BBI’s most generous contributors - he is currently sponsoring eight clinics in western Uganda.
The woman in the photo below is Kabugho Venilanda - she is the medic for the clinic.
