Today a group of five learners all boys from Kahendero Humanist School are participating in the Floating Classroom initiative by undergoing a series of practical participation in the floating classroom project where a skilled Boat Builder is building up a boat aimed to serve tourism purposes.

Our learners are acquiring skills from a local boat builder based in Kahendero whose business name is Siija Boat making workshop.

The children were orientated to a diagrammatic illustration of all the major boat parts which are all readily got.

The boat after completion will be used for tourism purposes along Lake George waters at the different landing sites and other places of interest.

To get involved in supporting this great worthwhile project. here is the link:

Attached are the images of some boats at Siija Workshop plus some timbers for a big one he is making for us. The boat will be live for viewing in 4 days.

With Science, we can progress.
