Brighter Brains Institute launches successful GoFundMe for Critical Thinking & Humanism Workshop

Posted: Thu, January 18, 2018 | By: Critical Thinking

BBI launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for a “test-drive” of its new 49-page Critical Thinking & Humanism workshop.

The GoFundMe was very successful—it exceeded its goal in just 4 hours.

The Critical Thinking & Humanism workshop provides a 12-Lesson plan - it was written by Leo Igwe (Nigerian Humanist), Hank Pellissier (BBI director) and Rodrigue Tremblay (Canadian author of “Global Ethics: Ten Humanist Principles.”)

The workbook will initially be tried out at Kanungu Humanist Primary School. Changes will be recommended and the workbook will be rewritten. After that, it will be instigated at three other BBI-supported humanist school (Buhanga,Kanyneze, Nyakiyumbu) - feedback from there will also be used, with continued revisions to the workbook.

Thank you to everyone who made this a successful campaign.
