BiZoHa Banana Grove

I spent three hours yesterday pruning the bananas by removing unwanted leaves for better banana growth.

On a related note, the farm workers are planting again beans in the bananas territory to boost up nitrogen fixing in the soil as nitrates are great nutrients as far as plant growth.

Cabbages, tomatoes are also thriving well on the farm and sweet potatoes are in the final stages of maturing up.

The farm land is greatly helping so much in contributing to the food needs at BIZOHA and Kasese Humanist Primary School. We have plans to develop this farmland into a viable project ready to provide extra foods to sale to the general public at our Andrea Vogt Roadside Stand.

Attached are some images from the site
