Posted: Mon, February 19, 2018 | By: Nigeria

Brighter Brains Institute is seeking to help Nigerians in the northeast of that nation who have been displaced by Boko Haram attacks. Our partner in this is Mustapha Bello, who works with ENDS (“Every Nigerian Do Something”). He sent us the following information:

“Internally Displaced Persons have fled their homes and villages and now staying in refugee camps. One of such camps in in Maiduguri the Borno state capital. I have some pictures I took during my visit to the camp. Materials needed include tents, shoes and clothing. There are around 5000 people living in the camp I visited where I went to give out clothes donations. Attached are some pictures I took:”

If anyone wants to donate materials to this cause, please contact brighterbrainsinstitute@gmail.com

Cost of items is:

SHOES AND CLOTHES

$12 = shoes and clothes for 1 child

$120 = shoes and clothes for 10 children

TENT

$150 can put up a tent to accommodate 5 people.
