Greetings Friends of the Brighter Brains Institute:
Media attention on BBI is escalating; in the last two weeks Kenyan journalists visited BiZoHa and six articles on our humanist efforts appeared in The Humanist, The Freethinker Bulletin (2 articles), The Piedmont Post, The Piedmonter, and the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technology. BBI press attention is catalogued HERE

Three new humanist brick classrooms neared completion in July, at Mother Givers Humanist School, Mughete Junior Humanist School, and Vision Care Humanist School. Funds for those were donated by Meredith Newman Debens, Aaron Silver-Pell, and Dr. Bruce Chou - his 4th classroom!
What do our Uganda humanist friends need now? Interesting List…
Condoms & Sex Education: Our Joycelyn Elders Clinic in Kisinga needs thousands of condoms to distribute to 1,500 students at Garama Secondary Humanist School and four other regional schools. 63,000 Ugandans die annually of AIDS, and unmarried girls often die in dangerous abortions. The powerful Catholic and Anglican churches in Uganda won’t deliver condoms to high schoolers, but BBI will. Donate at our “Market Page” HERE. After Kisinga, we’ll give condoms to our Jane Shrimpton Clinic in Kahendero, a fishing village with an enormous AIDS rate, due to local prostitution.
Pigs: BBI is buying 30 swine to launch a Piggery in Kisinga; profits will provide lunch program at Garama Secondary Humanist School. Oink! Donate HERE
Medicine: BBI’s 15 clinics need medicine to combat malaria, parasitic worm infections, peptic ulcer disease (caused by malnutrition) and other grievous maladies. Donate at our “Market Page” HERE To start a clinic, and name it whatever you want, click HERE

Food: Last month we provided greatly-needed lunch food to Rays of Light Orphanage Humanist School, St. Thomas Nursery School, Bwethe Primary School, and Garama Secondary Humanist School. The kids deeply appreciated it, but they’re still hungry. Donate HERE
Orphan Tuition: Last month, we found sponsors for twelve orphans at Kasanga-Kaghema Orphanage Humanist School. Only eight orphans still need sponsors; you can view them HERE and sponsor the one you select HERE Send email afterwards notifying us which child you sponsored.
ALL DONORS receive a Tax Deductible receipt, our two new ebooks, and a lovely Thank You card from a Ugandan Humanist Child.
Other needs? Funds to build a classroom at Nyakiyumbu Widows Orphanage Humanist School, chickens for Mother Givers Humanist School, teacher salaries, AFRIpads, Leo Igwe and Bwambale Robert Musubaho have ebooks for sale, and our new friends in Ghana have humanist facility costs. Everything is HERE
