BBI is Helping to Build a new Humanist Primary School - in Kahendero

Posted: Sun, February 05, 2017 | By: Kahendero Humanist School

Last month, BBI raised funds to build a humanist secondary school in Kasese — We raised $6,300 - enough to build 4 classrooms (with furniture) plus a latrine.

This month (February, 2017) our goal is to raise funds to expand Kahendero Humanist Nursery School — into a Primary School! The director - Bwambale Robert Musubaho - has been urged by local parents to expand his nursery school, because the local primary school has “collapsed.”

Our humanist school is now the only option for K-4 students in Kahendero.

If you want to help build the extra classrooms needed, you can donate HERE

Kahendero is a small fishing village on Lake George. The primary vocation is fishing, but tourism is a wonderful possibility; the lake is full of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and Nile buffalo.

One of Bwambale Robert Musubaho’s plans to provide extra funds for the school is to build a Tourist boat, that takes visitors out on the lake to view birds and wildlife. We have raised 40% of the funds for the tourist boat, if you’d like to contribute to that campaign, donate HERE.

Or help build tourist Eco-Huts HERE (if you fund an Eco-Lodge, you get your name on it)

Thanks!
