BBI GoFundMe for Vanilla Bean Farm at Pearl Vocational Training College

Happy Holidays !

Brighter Brains has a delicious new GoFundMe campaign.

We’re raising money to establish a Vanilla Bean Farm at Pearl Vocational Training College - a humanist school that teaches employable skills to orphans, homeless youth, widows, abandoned women, and ostracized unwed mothers, in a rural area of southern Uganda.

Vanilla beans are a profitable crop to raise in Uganda - they’re so valuable armed guards need to be hired near harvest time to prevent thievery.

Profits from the vanilla beans will be used to establish a candle making factory on the Pearl campus, and a sewing workshop that will make sanitary pads. Both projects will be sold at Masaka market to gain income for the college.

We’re doing this fundraiser with our new partners - Atheist Alliance International.

Together we will advance secular humanist education in Africa, providing evidence-based learning and humanitarian aid.

Here’s the GoFundMe link.
