As i wait for the other buildings to dry up to effect roofing works, am steadily working on two more classrooms at Kasese Humanist Secondary School - courtesy of the Halton Peel Humanist Community based in Canada and Atheist Community of San Jose based in the United States.
Am happy to report that the Atheist Community of San Jose classroom is now at wall plate and awaits roofing.
The Halton Peel Humanist Community classroom is still at the window base level and tomorrow it will be at window level.
Great thanks to the two secular community organizations for extending support to the appeal for classrooms meant for Kasese Humanist Secondary School. The school will offer usual subjects common in secondary schools spicing it up with vocational skills training courses.
The KHSS will be set up on a Science & Humanist Foundation and will bear the With Science, we can progress motto.
At Kasese Humanist, we think poverty, disease, ignorance and irrational superstitious beliefs is the reason why Africa has lagged behind for centuries, our input in this regard is to enlighten the masses with intent to debunk or alleviate on some of them.
Attached are some of the images of the ongoing constructions. To donate to the success of the secondary school project, chip in anything or help in spreading the message about us to the wider audience.
