Anonymous Donor from buys Rainwater Harvester for Mother Givers School

An anonymous donor from has purchased a rainwater harvester for Mother Givers Nursery School, in Buhanga, Uganda. The generous contributor heard about the project via a posting on the popular subreddit /atheism.

Buhanga is an isolated community in the foothills of the Ruwenzori Mountains in western Uganda. The town has no road access, but a trail connects it to the village of Kyarumba, 2 miles away. Buhanga also has no clean water - but Brighter Brains Institute (BBI) has a campaign to alleviate this—the rainwater harvester the kindly atheist paid for will serve the children at the local Mother Givers Nursery School there.

Today, the residents of Buhanga walk over two miles for water, to an unprotected well full of pathogens. Diseases that children get due to dirty water include diarrhea, scabies, cholera, typhoid fever, and worm infections. The children also often go without hand washing, bathing and clean clothes.

BBI has also established a clinic at Mother Givers School, to provide the children there with free medical care.

Mother Givers School is affiliated with BiZoHa Orphanage - the world’s first atheist orphanage, and with BiZoHa Orphanage School. The women who run Mother Givers School are interested in the Humanist Principles (see below), and the BiZoHa director, Bwambale Robert Musubaho, will be guiding them - if needed, them along the Humanist Path!

We’re “atheist missionaries” in western Uganda, promoting secular values through our schools, affiliated schools, and our clinics.

Thank you, Anonymous Donor, for your fantastic generosity! Your gift is preventing an enormous amount of disease, keeping children healthy!

This channel will post regular articles, with photos of children drinking water that the Rainwater Harvester provided.
