Amy Snively Donates Funds for AFRIpads - for Kanyenze School and Bwethe School

Posted: Thu, July 21, 2016 | By: Kanyenze Humanist School

Amy Snively has generously donated funds to provide AFRIpads to the older girls at Bwethe Primary School and Kanyenze Primary Humanist School.

Both Kanyenze and Bwethe are Ruwenzori Mountain towns that can only be accessed via a 5 kilometer trail, from the market town of Kyarumba.

AFRIpads are washable sanitary pads that can be used for up to a year. The cost of disposable sanitary pads s too expensive for rural Ugandan girls - any drop out of school when they hit puberty because of this problem.

Thank you, Amy Snively!
