This is a concise report showing cases of patients experienced from the 21st March to 9th June 2017 in the Nyakiyumbu Orphanage Primary School Clinic. My records indicate that the rate of patients gradually reduced as compared to previous terms. We hope that it’s because of the sensitization carried out by the clinic in a few households so far carried out on hygiene. These conditions therefore, are indicated in the table below:-
|Diseases/Conditions||Number of patients|
|RTI (Respiratory Truct Infections)||09|
|PUD (Paptic Ulcer Disease)||14|
|Body ring warms||02|
Malaria is the leading disease. This is because the area lacks safe water. This is to the extend that people even end up reusing the dirty water so far used for the first time because of it not being easy to get. PUD (Paptic Ulcer Disease) is the second leading disease. This could be assumed that the long drought experienced causing a long lasting famine in the district and the region in general might increase its rate of attraction. Respiratory Truct Infections (RTI) is the third infectious Disease as the area is extremely dry and dusty and acquiring cough, flu which attacks the respiratory system is easy.
We thank you so much for the support towards efforts to keep our lives safe.
I remain sincerely yours
