AFRIpads are a recyclable sanitary pad product, manufactured in Kampala, Uganda.
Henri and Dianne Pellissier donated $60 to Brighter Brains Institute; the funds were used to purchased AFRIpads for girls in the Kyarumba rural village schools that we support.
AFRIpads are a very valuable gift—the cost of sanitary pads is too cheap for many Ugandans. Without them, many Ugandan girls skip school or drop out entirely when they start having their period.
The AFRIpads gift will help keep about 12 girls in school this year!
The girls pictured below attend Rays of Light Orphanage School.
Thank you Henri and Dianne Pellissier!
