A total of 115 shoes have been purchased locally purposely to benefit pupils at the Bizoha Campus. The funds were raised by generous donors most of whom are child sponsors for 87 children studying at the Kasese Humanist Primary School – Bizoha Campus in Muhokya.

The shoes were bought locally to avoid the high taxes levied on imported shoes by the Uganda Revenue Customs officials who just tax anything. This initiative of shoe purchase was done by the School Director who at the same time is the overseer of the Child Sponsorship Program on the ground.

The shoes are going to be distributed in two batches and the exercise begun today 7th March 2016 where close to 43 children got for themselves shoes, next day to dish is on Thursday 10th this very week where we estimate to give out 72 shoes.

On behalf of Kasese Humanist Primary school/Bizoha Campus and the local parents/Guardians of the pupil, we salute and thank the generous friends of our school project for donating to us shoes, to some of our children, its their first time to put on shoes.

Attached are some of the images of the distribution process.
